Anyone watch Hannaty and Colmes tonight?

Yeah, I think that he really believed what he was saying but he couldn't formulate it into a cogent argument or make a reasonable response, so he just got frustrated and left.

What was he arguing?

He was arguing that the arrest of Michael Jackson was racially motivated. His "proof" was that Jackson's bond was $3M while the bonds for Phil Spector and Robert Blake were about $1M.

yeah, was the guy that left a "lefty" or a "righty" ?

I'm guessing a "lefty". The only black "righties" I regularly see on TV are JC Watts and Alan Keyes, both of whom are outstanding, imo.

I don't buy the race thing, although I agree that the bond seems out of whack.

No doubt Jacko is a wacko, but I think he's being railroaded for $'s.

i dont think this dude really registered on the "right" or "left" radar.
also: the guest didnt really address any of the questions posed to him. nor did he seem to want to stop screaming long enough to let any of us understand what, exactly, was the motivation of this racial agenda.

I saw that guy on a different show over the weekend - same deal, argued that it was racially motivated without any valid reason (although the $3 million bail is a bit absurd - I guess they don't want him to pull a Roman Pulanski). Very angry guy.

Yes, I agree. Family of the boy is out for the big bucks just like 10 years ago.

Reports were that he was tring to leave the country when he heard of the raid on neverland. He is considered a flight risk.

Damn...and they don't repeat the show right after the 11pm repeat of O'Reilly...no way I'm staying up until 2am to catch it.

Yeah and Phil Spector and Blake dont have millions worth of assests and private jets. Blake couldnt even post bail. Anyone that says its racially motivated based on bail amounts is a dumbass, its based on the likely hood of the person on bail running. They guy must have been a dumbass.

Bails are set based on flight risk, not the crime, unless the crime has mitagating circumstances. Blake couldnt even post bail, Jackson would only had to pay $300,000. Jackson is a flight risk. He could still flee.

I wasn't aware of Spector's and Blake's financial situtation.

I don't think that Jacko's a flight risk, but that's a presumption and I certainly don't think that bail was based on race.

Here's Leo Terrel's website:

Leo Terrel

Pretty lame.

Leo Terrell is a regular host for Talk Radio 790 KABC in the Greater Los Angeles Area. He is on the air every Saturday from 6pm - 9pm. The program covers a wide array of political and legal issues, with an emphasis in employment-related fields.

He was debating on flying to South America on his way to turn himself in. He negotiated a settlement with the lawyers from the other family while in Europe. He has a net worth of over a hundred mill. IMHO 3 mill was too little
