anyone watch Dexter on Showtime?

This show was great. Nice little twist at the end of Season 1. I had a little Dexter Marathon this past weekend! 😀

Season 2 starts in September and as amddude said, episodes 1 and 2 of season 2 are already available as Pre-Airs on the net if you're a bit savvy in that field. I will admit to having seen them and they are !!

Dexter's one of my favorite shows to watch and I actually picked up season 1 on DVD the other day 😀. The show's based around the main character Dexter and how he has this insatiable desire to kill ever since he was younger. He channels this desire by finding criminals that eluded the law, ensuring they are really guilty and "disposing" of them himself. It tends to deal a lot with the inner thoughts of the main character and how he interacts in a world of emotion when he himself has no emotions.

It's also based on the books by Jeff Lindsay:
Darkly Dreaming Dexter: http://www.amazon.com/Darkly-D...Lindsay/dp/0307277887/
Dearly Devoted Dexter: http://www.amazon.com/dp/1400095921/
Dexter in the Dark: http://www.amazon.com/Dexter-D...Lindsay/dp/0385518331/

The show doesn't follow the books exactly, but I think the show still does a good job overall.

The first two episodes of Dexter season 2 have been making the rounds for a few weeks, if you know where to look.

Yeah, I watched that show last year when I still had Showtime. It was pretty good, even though you can figure out what will happen right away. While I don't think I'll be getting showtime again any time soon I will definitely netflix season two when it comes out.
