Tonight's episode featured flashbacks by Denny, but the flashbacks were actually footage of him from a 1960's show he was in, one of his first roles. It was in the context of showing him as a young man interacting with his father. I kind of wonder how Shatner felt about it, it provided retrospective for his character, but must have done the same for him.
 
I don't like Boston Legal.


I love it.

and the clips were from a 1957 show called The Defenders that he was in with Steve McQueen and Ralph Bellamy...

Poor Brad, stuck in the air duct...
 
Boston legal is my favorite current TV show although I thought tonights episode was just ok ... I hate the way ABC is always bumping it for alternative programming.

I've thought this season has only been so-so but I loved tonight's episode, the flashbacks added somethin

which actor portrayed the older guy that was supposed to be denny's dad
