anyone watch A&E documentery on Saddam Hussain's sons last night?

Title says it all. Man I knew they were crazy but I really had no idea how absolutely psychopathic and sadistic Saddam Hussain's sons were. They were truly deranged killers that were perhaps just as evil as their father. And I gotta admit, after watching the documentary on Saddam's sons (and the one on Saddam immediately afterward), I began to think twice about why we were in Iraq. I've been vehemently opposed to and disgusted by the current Iraq situation from the start, but watching those documentaries I couldn't help but to feel like we were there to depose a leader as evil as Hitler.
 
I'd say they were more evil. I doubt that Saddam started out wanting to be a weenie. I'll bet that when he was young, he was idealistic and imagining a united Arab nation having peaceful and profitable relationships with the rest of the world.

Then he actually got power and figgered out he was screwed. Then he had kids who started out knowing they were screwed, so they never had a chance... 😉
 
Yea, I don't believe most Americans know the fulll extent of the things that Saddam did to his people. I remember one point of the documentary saying that Saddam had the only government in the world who employed rapists for the sole purpose of raping women as a form of interrogation. :Q
