we going to delaware city, de to our special place we go every year and never came back without a fish.


I use to go to delaware memorial bridge and take 9 south all the way down but mapquest indicating there is faster route

My aunt and uncle own a lake house in upstate NY and we never fish for carp. We go for walleye, trout, and bass. Fishing for carp is no different then throwing a line into the dumpster and seeing what you pull out.

Around here the let you fish for carp with a compound bow, and throw them out.

Carp doesn't have much taste....like Bass. Catfish is better tasting.

I prefer Bluegill....yumm.

They are garbage fish. They eat nothing but the sh!t on the bottom of the lake/pond.

I was at Lake Powell in Utah, and we pulled up to a dock at a marina where they had a store. There were carp swarming the dock. you could have walked across them. They just sit there cause people give them food.

And no one was trying to catch them, because no one wants them. Hell, you could have jsut scooped them up with a net.

Carp are bottom dwelling scavengers. They eat just about anything.

The only reason we ever caught carp was to bait the crawdad traps. I didn't think people actually ate them.. yuck.
