Anyone want to recommend some overclocking settings for Q6600?

I have my new parts listed below. At idle I am now at 32-34C on the cores. What would be a good starting point to get to 3.0ghz? Do most Q6600 need an increase in voltage to do this? I want to go higher but 3.0ghz is a good starting point.

I say try 9x333, 9x356, or 9X400.;) All the other settings, you're going to have to find out on your own, since they'll be different for each system.

Thanks for the tips. I tried 9x333 at the default voltage which is 1.29 in the bios and 1.312 according to cpu-z. Everything is fine so far. I ran 3dmark06 and the temps of all four cores stayed in the high 30s.

3dmark is not a good test for that. If you want to make sure its stable use Prime 95 on all four cores or linpack is even better. While priming the max temp I get is around 72C, linpack makes it hit 89C. Here's a Link with more info.

Thanks for the info. I have used prime 95 in the past and it is already installed. This was just a quick stability test. I know I need to do a longer better test.
