Anyone want to play some Quake 2 tonight?

Just curious if anyone here is up for some old fashioned fraggin' Q2 style. I'd setup a server but unfortunately I'm only on 56k Q2 seems to be the only game where 56k players can play competently against broadbanders, at least back in the day anyway. I'm up for good old fashioned DM or CTF if anyone else wants to get a game going on later tonight.

I'm up for some Q2. I play DM more regularly now on 207.21.124.13 and 206.180.149.1 as they seem to be the most consistently packed DM servers. Relatively few 'dedicated campers' (aka skill-less morons), too. Can't host a server myself right now, though.

Q2 and ZDaemon (Doom) are about the only DM- and FPS-action I get nowadays. I love the total chaos of a FFA.

Yea same here. It's too bad I've been out of the loop for a while now though - I'll probably get smoked pretty bad Do you know of any low ping servers that are relatively empty?
