The news has been talking about a "deck of cards" that has been distributed to the allied forces in Iraq. Apparently, it's actually a deck of cards featuring the "most wanted" Iraqi Regime individuals - with Saddam being the Ace card.

ROFL, yeah, heard BG Brooks during the briefing earlier this A.M. "Fifty-five cards in the deck"

Should be an interesting change from the Soviet-era tanks and weaponry we had on our cards back in the day.

I wonder if these decks might be available from military surplus stores after the war? Or, given the popularity of the war, my guess is eventually we might see them on Ebay going for high prices. At this point, I'd be happy with a link to a Web site that has the cards scanned and then placed on-line. ;)

It's a set of 55 playing cards. I guess that makes room for 3 jokers. Any guesses on who they may be?

ha, they took a screen grab of brooks holding the card at the press conference.

seller posts, "My cousin shipped me a case of there right from the supply tents. "The list, in the form of a "deck of cards" with pictures of the wanted figures, was distributed to the thousands of U.S. troops in the field to help them find the senior members of the government"

Didn't you hear that UPS sent a guy with a camel to pick them up in the middle of the desert and then mailed them to Los Angeles?

Ebay isnt exactly high on my list of reputable places to get a deck. Is the PDF file linked the actual source they were printed from?

Trust me, shortly after this conflict is over soldiers will be bringing back these decks and selling them on Ebay....no doubt about it. They will probably be pretty expensive though....
