Hey, i'm really interested in trying out a gMail account... does anyone have a free invitation or an account that they are willing to give away. I can also trade for software or an Orkut membership. Please let me know.

Go to gmailswap.com and beg like the rest of us. It's almost impossible to get a handout when it comes to Gmail invitation because they're being sold on eBay for cash. BTW, Orkut invites are being handed out on gmailswap.com for free.

If anyone wants an invite to Orkut, LMK.

Orkut is sucky... that's about all it is, too.

Orkut is like friendster by Google. It's invite only and it has more features that Friendster lacks, like communities, scrap book, etc.

GMail is the e-mail service offered by Google that features 1GB of storage space. It's invite only but it should be open to the public soon.

1GB of storage space and it's invite only. People want it so they can get their unique name @gmail.com. Also the hype is driving morons to pay $50+ on eBay for the invites.
