Anyone want to host the latest BF1942 patch?

I just noticed that v1.31 patch came out on March 7. Servers are jammed.

anybody have a no-cd .exe? this is not for piracy, i own the game, but hate using the cd all the time and taking it to lan parties.

I installed the patch. HUGE sound changes. All the guns sound different.

Also the opening flash screens are different. They're not quicker (bummer) just different.

Why not d/l it yourself and host it? My u/l speed is slow as snot. It would take hours to upload it for me.

I'm not operating on those lines right now, just on 1mb dsl, so it's probably about the same. bob332 is uploading it as we speak, and I'll move it to one of the servers on the DS3 when I get it.
