Some guy in Amsterdam is has tried over 1000 times to connect to port 139 on my machine... I'd like it to stop, but I can't to much about it other than just have my firewall block it and watch him keep trying.
The guys IP is 80.132.180.5
Please have fun with it.
Edit: they are also coming from 84.171.151.12 too :| also from Amsterdam!
wtf...

Maybe you could use this http://www.nessus.org/ , this progy a port scanner... but its powerful - quote "WARNING

If you select Enable All, there is a high probability that you will cause the targeted machine to crash. For the purposes of this exercise, select Enable All but Dangerous Plugins. "

Its linux though. I havent used it, but it looks fun.

Port 139 is closed, but man, these guys aren't giving up.

ever thought of the possiblity of you having a trojan on your PC already? Maybe spyware reporting data back and forth?

The odds of you being randomly targeted by someone in Amsterdamn and as furiously as you make it sound are astronomical.

Well all the atacks are coming in, nothing is going out. I have MS antispyware active, and I also checked with adaware and spybot - all report clean. All online port scans I found report nothing is open. I don't download any risky stuff... only thing I have connected to the net at any time is AIM, FF, ud agent, guild wars, or nod32.

I guess it could be, but it's not like it would exactly be that hard for some script kiddie to put my IP address in a program on two machines and let it run in the background. They are *still* going on now.
