After losing this auction a EBay, I realized something.

I could design something like this for way less than $100. The hard part is the analog joystick(which I know uses a variable reisitor from 0-500 ohms). Anyone have any ideas of where to get the analog portion pre-fabbed on the internet? I did some searchin via gooogle and there not really an easy to fdind parts store for such things.

Holy crap, A hundred bucks for a Atari 5200 controller? Damn I swindled that guy at the swap meet last year then! I bought an Atari 5200 system with a kung fu grip of controllers, games, and accessories all in good condition for 16 bucks. :D

WEll, yes. But it's a Wico brand joystick which is VERY reliable and VERY rare that sold for $100. The joystick portion with Y-cable typically goes for about $50. That keypad that came with it actually cost the guy $50 extra. That keypad was also made by Wico though and probably even more rare than the joystick. I can put together the keypad. The joystick on the other hand is a pain to build. Need to find a pre-fab joystick.
