Ok, I wanted to make a good gaming powerhouse computer. My friend says I should wait to buy until dual AMD's come out...? Anyway, build a comp with this:

You must have some idea of what you are looking at.

Try reading the post at the top of General hardware for some system ideas first and then try again.

Where can you get a 930B for 349.00? Best Buys price is 429.00 before a 50 dollar rebate.

I would go with a monitor that can run at least 1600x1200. No point in getting that computer to run at 1280x1024. Just my opinion.

x2 4400 1mb cpu (Wait for the x2's they are awesome)
DFI Nforce 4 Motherboard
Xp 120 HSF
200 gig hdd Western Digital
1x74 gb Raptor Sata (main HD)
OCZ VX 2x512 memory
ATI x850 XT PE PCi Express or 6800gt Ultra Pci Express (depends on games)
Logitech z5500 Speakers
100 $ On sound Card
Thermaltake Tsunami Tower
Dell 2405" LCD Monitor

The 4400 is clocked at 2.2ghz and if you overclock it to around 2.6 ghz then you will in affect have 2 Fx 55's. Many reviews have reported getting to 2.7ghz.

This will put you in the $3000 range.

Good specs but 2 raptors are not needed, 2 gigs of 500! ram is not needed for games... SLI ???....It would be best to get 1 card that can perform at the levels of 2x 6800gt's. The 3700 does have potential to overclock but the x2's are just around the corner and they game well (like the A64 4000) processor.
