i have direct tv now and i want to switch to time warner so i can have more tvs w/o buying more satellite boxes. i called up time warner and they gave me this special deal because i have direct tv:

-2 digital cable recievers, both with 6 HBOs and 9 Showtimes
-free installation
-no contract
-only 40.18/month w/ tax

they are also giving me $100 bill credit in exchange for my dish and reciever, which they come and take themselves...meaning i dont have to do anything.

this is also good because now my road runner internet will go down $5/month. woohoo!

mmmmmmm

EDIT: forgot to add, my road runner will gown down from 44.95 to 39.99 since im switching :)

I have DirecTV (infact I brought the system home the day they were digging the time warner cable lines). I finally got Road Runner setup several months ago and found out a week or 2 ago that I also have about 73 channels on cable... all for $44.95/month. So maybe when my contract with DirecTV runs out I'll switch to time warner so I don't lose TV every time a storm comes thru heh. The regular channels aren't any clearer with the digital cable right? Just the digital tier/premium channels?
BTW the $99 for your dish thing has been around for a long time. ;)

mmm good. i think the channels are just as clear because everything is digital now, at least it is here in rochester, ny. all digital cable does is gives you more channels, im not sure though

Until cable gets the NFL Ticket, I will never leave DirecTv.

We got a similar deal with our digital cable when we swithed from satellite (had way too many headaches with it). When we told them we were switching from satellite it was an offer no one could refuse.
