The ish that's the most ill is being put out right now.

Negative. Today's music is ******. Too many club bangers, and all of them sound the same.
I'm obviously not talking about what's being played on the radio...

The underground has been hot as hell for the past six years.

Can you name artists other than Murs, Slug, Aesop, Sage Francis, JMT ?

Bonecrusher? You fail.
If you're looking for seminal albums from the south, you gotta bang with UGK (Ridin Dirty in particular) and the old-school Three 6 Mafia stuff.
Project Pat - Ghetty Green is vicious, as is his Murderers and Robbers. That's assuming, of course, that you're looking for southern stuff.
TI - Trap Muzik was his best release if you're into him; far superior to King and Urban Legend.
Pastor Troy has one album worth listening to - Face Off. Universal Soldier is also one you can pick up if you're really into his vibe but, as far as I'm concerned, that's about it.

And if you don't like/respect Aquemini, I don't know if I can associate with you. That said, I'll be keepin tabs on this page. There's a refreshing lack of rap-bashing.

fuk that i dont give a damn. bonecrusher is and always will be a southern star. he is one of the first southern stars and to despite his ability is absolute ignorance. lil wayne's flow is stunning (tho i admit his last album, besides fireman, was less than stellar) and it really shines on tracks like "stuntin like my daddy" and "shotty bounce" where he just lets go. Project pat is crazy but some might not like his flow because of its stops and starts (kind of like sikk shokker). T.I. was good on be easy, but i never really liked him after that (cept on I'm a G by Bun B). When i say southern rap BTW im referrin to ATL not Texas. ATL is the dirty dirty, texas is merely slightly scuffed up (not to insult Bun B, UGK, and lil flippa.)

Morgash

*EDIT* i might be hung in the rap community for this (no pun intended) but everyone can at least admit that despite his current sell out status Ludacris had one of the most amazing abilities to make his rhymes sound like an integral part of the beat than anyone else. He could come in on a horrible song and make it shine by his verse alone (aka Hotel by CHingy and Ridin Slow by Ciara)

yeah especially since pastor troy has been on BET soooo much. and fuk that "i'm too underground" attitude. if you have talent its inevitable that you will make it to the top becasue the whole business is built around grabbing underground stars and making them sell out. that underground attitude makes u sound like a bitchy emo rock kid. "o i ONLY listen to the latest industrial rock" lol. everyone on that list was underground at some point and personally i dont care if its on BET, MTV, or VHfkin1 if it has a good beat and the rapper has great flow, who the fvck cares?

Morgash

BTW UGK pretty much invented Texas rap so to insult their ability is beyond me. Bun B and Pimp C singlehandedly (albeit with small help from Jayz) opened texas swing to the masses.

*EDIT* and don't forgot Duece Komrades. Down with the south and Ridin and Smokin are classics

I'll give you props on Luda's flow, whatever grief you might get out here. Chicken-N-Beer was one of the better albums I've heard, in terms of how it was put together and general flow from beginning to end.

I don't listen to much rap, but I hope someone's suggested Black Star and Reflection Eternal...that's some stuff I can listen to.

you dont really believe that do you? And its not about underground...there are a bunch of good rappers in the mainstream, just not the trash on the top 10 you see everyday.
