Anyone want to buy a condo in Santa Monica, CA?

I have a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo with washer and dryer and about 1200 square feet, and it cost $165,000. This is in Ann Arbor, MI.

No way in hell am I ever moving to California.
 
I have a 9 story house, 18,000 square feet, built 2003, and it cost me only $55k on ocean frontage, with a 15 acre estate. I bought it in 2001 and it's now appraising at a hair under 7 mil.

Yea you gotta love California.

I'm a proud owner of a 4 br, 2 br, 2 car garage, huge backyard, finished basement (did myself) and it only cost me $200k.

Man, I wish I was old enough to own real estate in California about 15-20 years ago....Heck, 10 years ago.

Yeah, well I have an 18 story house that's 9000 sq ft and it cost me $5500 on freeway frontage. It sucks though because the master bedroom is on the 18th floor but all 6 of the bathrooms are on the first floor and there is no elevator. 🙁
