anyone wanna recommend a laser printer?

im looking for a laser printer for my home... usb is good. cheap toner is a definate plus. anyone have any companies or models to suggest? whcih ones to stay away from? which companies tend to have cheaper toners or have models which you can buy no name toner from?

im looking for something in the 300-350 range CANADIAN.
anything good here? i have a $50 rebate for staples... im looking at that hp 1000 and the samsung 1210...

and how are these? all canadian dollars.

Dunno the exchange rate but it's a nice Printer...comes with only 1/2 cartridge though but has a toner saver on it and I wouldn't recommend generic toners for them...also takes some time to warm up and a tad loud IMO

yeah ive been seeing good things about that one...1, 2 and its pretty damn cheap.

If price is an issue, try the Brother HL-1440. It works like a champ.

ive checked up on that one too... heard good things about it, but its more expensive than the samsung by like 100 bucks here!

I was thinking about getting that one from Buy.com but they didn't have it in stock so I just go the Brother HL1440. The ML1450 looks like a great printer, too bad I didn't get a chance to give you a review.

I've bought several 1400 series for friends and relatives, and they all love them. I also own a 1430 and it's the best bang-for-buck laser printer. I would get a 1400 series than a 1200 series (1400's replaced 1200's) if the price difference isn't that much.

alrighty. thanks for all the tips! im gonna go with that ml1430. good reviews, good recommendations... im decided! too bad that 50 buck rebate ended apparntly. they screwed up the site prices....

Another vote for the Samsung ML-1430, it replaced the 1210 model.

$170 American at Best Buy after $30 MIR, can you buy from BB online and have them send it to you?
