i KNOW some people have these cards already.
The point is NOT to see how nice it looks in HL2, because we all know it looks nice...and HL2 never had a big performance hit anyway.
I really want to know what performance hit with adaptive AA the new cards have compared to the old cards.
Here is one link, eg.

where they make some comparisons with OLDER cards..especially FarCry is very interesting.
I am really SURPRISED, because we had those cards announced for a while now and we all KNOW they have "adaptive antialiasing" (which we can have on older cards too with varying performance hits, we know that)...but nowhere, in NO review did *anyone* do a test with those game engines and adaptive AA on and the X1000 cards and compared the performance hit with that of an "old" card like X800/X850 series etc.
Eg. in FarCry on a X800/X850 you can get dramatic hits like from 55 FPS down to 28 FPS, about 50% FPS hit by enabling A AA...so now how does the X1800 do ?
