I noticed that the direction of airflow is vertical for xp-90 if installed in A8N Sli Premium. The stock heatsink has a different orientation where the airflow is horizontal, and this appears to be a better cooling solution because it blows air directly on the "mosfet heatsink" that is connected via heat pipe to the chipset. With the stock heatsink, the Nforce4 chipset heatsink used to be barely warm to the touch, now the XP-90 it has become too hot to touch. (I could probably burn my skin in 5 seconds).

However the Asus Probe still shows similar temps (40 idle and 45 load). Same as before. Should I be worried? btw no problem so far playing doom3 and bf2. Anyone with the same components care to share your experience?

I have the XP120 and my chipset is usually 2-3 degrees cooler than my CPU when I run with the fan.. I am talkin like 34 for the proc while the chipset is at about 32. It seems like the way the Thermalrights are set up, the work just fine with the heatpipe... but then again... i have a bigger fan which may cover more area over the mosfets.
