Anyone using the Dell 2405FPW as a TV?

For a long time I used my 2405FPW as a monitor but recently I moved into my bedroom and connected it to a cable box. Unfortunately it does'nt go into power save mode once I turn the cable box off, is there a way to configure it so it does?
