Anyone using the 3COM Officeconnect Cable Modem?

I'm using the 3COM Officeconnect Cable Modem with an SMC Barricade 7004BR. I have to power cycle the router at least once a day and sometimes the modem. I'm replacing the router with a Netgear 802.11g one and hope the problem goes away.
