Anyone using sound dampening material? How well does it work?

I'm trying to quiet it down my PC. I have just gottena fan speed controller and that cuts fan noise down to almost nothing. ill be adding some L1A's and that should help as well.

My next step was going to be to add soem sound dampening material, and some of the vibration dampeners for fans and PSU. Anyone using this stuff? is it effective? I'm running it in an antec 1080 AMG.

I have used sounds\ dampening before it was okay but my case was far to loud for it to be very effective I would think it would do much better with these low speed very quite fans anyways. It should be helpful to you but it wasn't much for me.

Thanks. I have good airflow in my case, so I am assuming it won't affect cooling TOO much. I am basically looking to make it silent for normal use, but having the ability to turn up my fans for good cooling during gaming.

can anyone recommend a good hard drive silencer
