Wow this program is so cool. Found it when I was on zdnet. It uses very little cpu power and stores WU's. I am trying this one out but so far it is very user friendly. Beats what I have heard of seti queue and other members problems, at least I can work this program. I am somewhat software illiterate, and the husband is getting annoyed with me for spending so much time trying to work the programs correctly. 😀
I just dont know if this program allows for transfer to another members account the way the queue does.😀😎

WOW This is a brand new program just released 01/29/2002
I guess they knew someone like me would come along and needed all the help they could get. Still it is a fantastic program. I have run it since last ngiht and the cache filled up as soon as I checked the use cache box. I cant believe I couldnt load my seti queue cache. But this is so awesome.

I'd be interested in giving it a try. Seti driver seems to take longer to crunch for some reason than seti spy. Maybe it's just me.....

For the record, both SETISPY and SETIDRIVER use the SETI CLI client. The WU is crunched by the same old SETI CLI proggy that everyone uses. The only reason for a slowdown would be SETIDRIVER or SETISPY taking up CPU cycles or resources that SETI needs, thus slowing the times down. Anything else would be a difference in how they calculate the processing times of the WU.

I have been using SetiMonitor for several months now, and i am quite happy with it.

It is compatible with both the CLI and GUI versions of the client, and seems quite well written.

It also has an auto-notification feature that tells you when a new version is available.

I have been in email contact with the inventor of this program this morning and am awaiting his responce on how to transfer cached wu's from seti monitor to another queue through seti monitor but not sure it can be done. Will post when I get a reply from him.🙂
UPDATE- Lior said that the only way to be able to transfer cached CU's is manually. HE did not give the details though, so If anyone can tell me how to do a manual trasfer of WU's from Seti Monitor I would appreciate it. This way if we get in trouble again we can open up caches and help each other out.
