Anyone using psp as a mp3 player?

Just wondering how well it serves the purpose of an mp3 player? My ipod died, and I'm bitter about apple, would like to avoid giving them more money.

My friend uses his primarily as an mp3 player. Other than being rather large, it works just fine for mp3. Of course as far as the buttons and navigation go, it will not be as good as an ipod or any standard mp3 device.
