anyone using one of these as a radiator

check this out. anyone using it or have seen people use it?

I'm thinking about it, but I wonder if it'll do a good job or not.

I'm not sure many of us are qualified to say. It's impossible to tell from that picture what the internal structure of that thing is. Based on the external structure, though, my guess is it won't work well at all. Looks like too much metal with too little surface area, and no apparent way to achieve decent airflow.

That's just conjecture on my part, though. But there's probably a reason you haven't seen other folks using similar designs....

they work great in race cars...the biggest problem I see is fan placement.

Don't they use those in the Zalman Reservator thing and some Innovatek radiators? As far as I know they are all passive, but the one you see is probably too small and has too little fins to achieve that.
