Hi. I am having trouble getting the ASIO sound driver to work in my audio apps (Reason to be specific). The sound is all sped up and thrashed sounding. Is anyone using them successfully? Although the DirectX driver in full duplex mode still provides good latency, esp. with buffers reduce to 512k, I would like to take advantage of the true ASIO driver if possible. Thanks.

I'm using the ASIO drivers with Sonar 2.2 XL. Apparently there is an issue with Sonar and ATI's catalyst 3.2's Rage Theater audio (and Sonar's installer with XP SP1), so I went with the ASIO drivers in Cakewalk. Unfortunately, I've not had any time to really check them out, but can report that they "seem" to be working OK. I played along with the session drummer(midi) and tried some effects patches with my guitar as well. Later this week I plan on spending some time on a few tracks I'm working on, so I'll be able to run it through the paces a bit. I'll report back to the thread after.

BTW, I don't know if you're referring to Paul deLay with your sig (local blues giant), but hey...cool if you are:), I always enjoy him at the clubs and the festival now that he's back.
