hi folks,
I'm having trouble RECEIVING my netzero email. I'm using MS Outlook Express as my e-mail program. To be sure,I have double checked my server settings (pop.netzero.net and smtp.netzero.net) and they are both correct.
I know that to SEND email using netzero, you must be logged into netzero. However, to merely RETRIEVE email you dont need to be logged into netzero and can be using any ISP.
The error msg I get is:
Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Account: 'pop.netzero.net', Server: 'pop.netzero.net', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F
Oddly, when I am using a web based email to externally retrieve POP3 email, I am able to get my netzero email that way. SO there is no problem with my password or the netzero server.
Anyone have any ideas?
thanks
