Anyone using Lindows? Give me the 411

Well... I just d/led a beta version of Lindows (I think) from a warez channel on infratech. I figured it might be kinda cool. Is anyone using this OS? I know it can run linux and pc titles and that is about it. Can anyone educate me more on this OS? This is what the .nfo file said.

Can't run Windows programs any better then the various versions of WINE out there...really its just a poor linux distro...sitck with Mandrake, RedHat, or Suse...

Na windows dropped the suit because if the courts said that "Windows" was a generic term for a gui interface than most of Microsoft's copywrighted names would be in jepody.
think Word, Office, etc etc.

Just for the record X Window has been around for much longer than Microsoft's Windows and people were calling the program interfaces on the MAC desktop "windows" since the first MAC OS.

Anyways Warez'ing Lindows is pointless, because the whole point to Lindows is to use the Lindows warehouse to get easy to use ports. So if you want a copy for Lindows right now just pay for it. Otherwise wait for a year or so for the general release like everybody else.
