Looking for actual VOIP phones I can use around the house...anything not too expensive...
 
Hmm yeah, I did do quite a bit of searching and found that out. I know it was free for the weekend since it was mother's day, but how long will it last? Does Mr. Pulver officially endorse it?

Anyways I was able to make a call to my cell and it worked fine (SprintPCS). Tried to call my girlfriend, but she couldn't hear me at all and I couldn't hear her either. I am using X-Lite on Mac OS X.
 
I bought a $15 calling card at dialpad.com recently and it's garbage. When it was free a few years ago it worked much better... I don't understand
 
so how does one dial to regular PSTN from FWD? is there some special prefix one has to dial before the area code + number?
 
It's the same way you would dial an 800 number, just replace the 800 with the area code you want to call.
