Hello,
My A8N32-Deluxe came today and I'm waiting for my new case tomorrow to rebuild my PC. Currently in my old SLi system, I had a Firewire PCI card w/ texas instruments chipset for my DAW hardware (MOTU 828 MKII, ProjectMIX I/O, External hard drive, ect....). I see the A8N32-Deluxe has onboard firewire using the texas instruments chip also. I'm wondering if anyone has used the firewire on this motherboard and how is the speed/ stability of it?
Currently I'm ordering a GigaByte I-RAM for this board and I'd like to order 2 of them but if the onboard firewire isn't good enough, i'll skip the second I-RAM. I have the 3rd PCI Slot on this board already taken up w/ something else.
Thanks!
Techno
