Anyone using digital out along with analog line-in on 8RDA+ (or other nforce2) successfully?

It won't work, you're trying to pass an analog signal through a digital out.
To our knowledge, the analog line-in and microphone should work when the SPDIF is connected. Check the Nvidia control panel settings for "input" and "digitalized input" to verify those settings. Also, verify that your video card does not have any protrusions that might be shorting the AUD2 header on the motherboard.
That's from epox...
There are sections for recording (what goes into a recorded WAV file), for digitized
input (what analog sources get passed on to the digital speakers), and for the various
outputs. It should be noted that the sliders for recording and digitized input are not
levels like the volumes, but are instead gains (boost) that go from 0 db (at the
bottom) to infinity (at the top).
That's from nvidia...

I don't know what to tell you, the ADC functions are done in the ALC650...which is bypassed with digital out. So unless nVidia snuck some extra silicon into the APU and didn't tell anyone what you are trying isn't going to work.
