anyone using dell 2405fpw? one question

i use dvi and it seems that all options are grey except for brightness. I can't even use auto adjust in color setting. Anybody knows why?

its digital. you cant adjust anything but the backlight.

the monitor cant do anything to the digital signal from the pc.

You can't on the 2005 either.

Point being that with the entire path of pixel data from the graphics card's original image down into the panel logic is digital. There is no need to manually adjust color, contrast or other corrections for transmission error and bias. The only available adjustment is backlight brightness.

Everything else can be adjusted at the source. Contrast, gamma, color balance.
