I'm thinking of buying this at Fry's today for 64 bucks with an Athlon XP 1800 retail. I was just looking for some input for those that have used this board here.

Thanks in advance.

The board's been around for ages, and is a solid performer. You should just watch the revision you get - it should at least be a v5.x to have the KT333 chipset, higher revisions to be preferred for their newer south bridges. For $64 including the CPU, it's certainly a good deal.

I have one from Frys with an XP2200+ t-bred-b.
I have had no problems with it.

🙂

Just got one with the XP2200 Thoroughbred
Did have problems, but after hours of testing, I discovered the CPU is likely dead.

The K7VTA3 works fine though. Seems pretty stable, at least so far.

i'm running mine w/ a 2500+ barton. set the jumpers on the mobo to 166/166 and works perfectly fine.

anyone o/cing w/ it? hacked bioses? mine's a v.5 also

I just got this from frys.. xp2500 and k7vta3 version 5

I put in my ram, cpu, heatsink/fan, and video card. plugged the power wires into it and the power button wires into it and it wont turn on? do i have a dead powersupply? i have an enermax 330 watt i think(at work right now). is that enough power?

Got a Tbred-B 2200+ w/v5 board here. Overclocked it to 2800+ using the volt mod on the mobo (socket). Board is really nice esp for the price IMO.
