Hi
I just saw this program over at PCWorld.com. It is suppose to check your computer for spyware programs. I tried it and it said that I have 20 cookies that were there and should be deleted since they were spyware.
Just curious if anyone else is using this program and is it safe to use.
Thanks

Like the grandfather joke.

Aren't all cookies some sort of spyware? Sometimes good, more often just taking up space.

Best bet if all the program came up with was cookies, is to go through the cookie folder and delete the ones you don't want.
Or just get a cookie delete program.
Or IDcide - that is a good one - you can see what sites are tracking and where to etc.

Cookies aren't the bad thing, but it's amazing how many other things it turns up. Some things (like Gator) are packed in with GetRight and WebShots and leave an install log file even if you choose not to install them.
