Anyone using a Wifi/Bluetooth IR blaster to control receiver and TV?

I have a Samsung Smart TV (but with no bluetooth) and a Yamaha RX-377 receiver. I currently have to use seperate remotes to turn both on. I'd like to use a universal remote, and found this wifi IR blaster unit that would allow my phone to turn the TV and receiver on..

However, when I turn the receiver on, it automatically defaults to the wrong input, AV1, when it should be HDMI1. So My sequence is turn TV on (receiver turns on at the same time), wait 5 seconds then hit HDMI1 to switch from AV1.

My question is, are there any wifi IR blaster units that I can add custom button presses from the factory remote, or do they only allow basic adjustments such as volume, input, channel, etc.?
