Guys,
Last night I helped a friend put together a CeleronII-600 system. Components include: CeleronII-600 retail (using Thermaltake Golden Orb HSF in place of the retail one), Shuttle AB61 440BX Slot1 board, Soyo SY-370 Slotket, 128MB Mushkin Samsung CAS2 PC100 SDRAM, Leadtek S320-II TNT2 Ultra 32MB SGRAM video, IBM 75XP 30G hard drive, Toshiba 10x/40x EIDE DVD, Enlight 7237 250w case.
All went well, and system booted up as a Pentium III @ 589MHz. We'd like to run this cpu @ the 100MHz FSB, effectively yielding a 900MHz processor speed. My confusion centers on the Soyo Slotket, as the skimpy instruction card does little to clarify the correct jumper settings.
So, is there anyone here that has used this slotket, and can recommend the correct jumper settings? Specifically, it appears that JPA should be shorted, JPB should be shorted across pins 1 & 2, and JPC should be open. There are two additional jumpers (JP1, JP2) that control overclocking. The instruction card indicates that normal operation is shorting JP1, and pins 1 & 2 of JP2, while overclock settings are having both JP1 and JP2 open. Any suggestions?
TIA,
Jeff
