Anyone using a key finder device?

One would think after driving for 30+ years I would have learned to simply put my keys in a place where I could easily find them the next morning. Alas, I am guessing that ship has sailed. To that end, I see there are any number of key finder devices out there these days that can be triggered from a smart phone to trigger an audible beacon when you need to locate a lost item. This seems like something useful for those few times a year when I am frantically looking for my keys on Monday morning. Could also make a neat stocking stuffer for other family members.

So, is anyone using one and like it? The Tile seems to be the default choice, but no changeable battery seems like a real bummer.

I use some Tiles, they're not very good, as you mentioned, the battery, the noise they make is faint, and the phone software isn't very good.

A question. Would you also need a device to first find your phone?

lol, I was waiting for that. You can use a device like this for your phone as well, but honestly my phone is rarely if ever a problem. I have a dedicated spot where my phone charges every night and I usually have it with me so I tend to not misplace it like I do my keys for whatever reason.

Plus my phone is a monster, much harder for it to get buried under something or knocked off the counter by a cat.
