I did, I think I was about 12 or 13. After that job I decided I never wanted to sell again. I only worked for about a week and I had the most subscriptions out of the crew yet I still got yelled at everytime the dude with the truck would pick us up. I was actually scared to get in the truck knowing I only sold like 2-3 subscriptions. Dude was scary.

Looking back I would never do that job again. I was like 12 years old and one time they dropped us off in one of the worse neighborhoods in the area. Fortunately nothing bad happened. I remember one time we got dropped off in a apartment complex with a sign that said no solictors at the entrance. Being in the back of a truck with a camper shell I never saw the sign. I knocked on this one door and this dude comes out yelling and scaring me and asking if I was blind because I didnt see the no solictors sign at the entrance to the apartment. I was scared and ran away hehe. I had a friend work with me for 1 day and he sold 0 subscriptions, haha. Anyway I think I made like $27 for a weeks worth of work.

i did it probably around that age too. I delivered papers in my own neighborhood. We stuffed the inserts in, threw them in bags, then delivered them. My route was only ~40 people. The worst part about the job was collecting the money- there's nothing i hate more than taking people's money. Most of the time, i ended up paying for them just to avoid going door to door. Christmas was the best time...tips were awesome!

A kid? I did it at the age of 23. It paid over $800 a month and was a nice tax shelter.

Not bad for working 15 hours a week.

I SOLD (door to door) newspaper when I was 13 or 14 for 1 week.

The job sucked.

Delivering papers also sucks (waking up at 3:30 AM 7 days a week) but is easier since you're not selling anything.
