So the rubber on the analog sticks of my Xbox 360 controller has totally peeled off so I am looking for a new controller. I don't have anything against the 360 controller but the longevity of the sticks is not very good. So I was looking at the Xbox One S controller which apparently supports Bluetooth?

Buying Xbox One controller with the Microsoft dongle get's too expensive for my liking. Has anyone used the One S controller with Bluetooth? What I really want to know is how it affects battery life? Is it the same as with the Microsoft dongle?

I know only 1 Xbox controller can be connected with Bluetooth and I am okay with that. Any other limitation I need to know of?

Works fine. Couldn't tell you about battery life, don't use it consistently enough on my desktop. Use some good rechargeable batteries (such as eneloop) and it really shouldn't matter.

Also, I think the One S controller only works on Windows 10.

Does Bluetooth suck more juice out of the AA batteries? The Xbox 360 controller has amazing battery life and I don't want to give up on it. Buying the MS dongle with the Xbox One controller will give me the same battery life as the 360. No info on Bluetooth unfortunately.
