pzizz, a "personal life coaching system".. it basically helps you to relax and sleep.

I thought this was some wack science until I read the reviews.. and they have quite a few.

I tried it myself and I'm not sure if it actually works. It seems that you have to use it for a while before you head "tunes" to it.

Ok, but what does it actually do? The website just seems to talk about how wonderfully great naps are, and somehow this software magically lets you get a better nap than anyone in any previous generation, thanks to amazing iPod technology.

Ah, but they do have a rather well hidden warning:

WARNING

Do not use the pzizz product if you suffer from epilepsy, clinical depression or any other nervous or psychiatric condition. If you are in doubt please consult your doctor/physician before you use the pzizz product. The pzizz product should not be used when driving, operating machinery or at any other time when full alertness is required.
Hasn't the entire US population been diagnosed with some kind of nervous or psyciatric condition? :D

Well, i just tried it out. Being a huge skeptic on these "help" systems i figured what can i lose?

The system is basically a set of soothing sounds and a narrative to help get you to relax, and ultimately fall asleep. I tried it a couple of times today and it works as advertised. Of course, you need to give it a chance and not just think out ahead of time "this won't work".

The nice thing is it got me relaxed and refreshed all within an hour without that groggy feeling that usually accompanies short naps.
