anyone used gamersgate before

Theres a game, http://www.gamersgate.com/index.php?...=DD-PR&cat=all I want to get but it is only available at Gamersgate.com. I have never even heard of this service before so I was wondering if anybody had any experience with them. I believe the game will be on Direct2drive.com in a couple weeks but I dont know if they are any better than Gamersgate.

I bought a couple of games from them and I didn't have any problems, everything went smoothly.

gamers gate was created by the company Paradox Interactive as a means to sell their games without going through the big publishers. It has since blossomed into a service which sells games for many different companies many of which you'd never be able to buy because they would never be carried by those big publishers. It's almost like an indie game market but it also has some big titles like Civilization.

anyway, I've been using it since the day it opened up and I can vouch for it's legitimacy, security and great service. I have about 20 titles now in my gamers gate profile. Penumbra is one of them, actually.
