I found this software some time ago...but since it's linux only, and I only run linux at work (where I'm not usually screwing with my photos), I kinda forgot about it.
Just wondering if anyone else has used it, and their impressions vs lightroom, etc...
It's pretty young, but for freeware, I think it's awesome. the UI beats the pants off of UFRaw and RawTherapee. Some of the available features are damn nice too. The AMaZE demosaic algorithm, which includes auto ca adjustments, rocks the house.
I like the results I get from RawTherapee, but much much much prefer the darktable UI and speed (and the results aren't too shabby either).
