yeah, that's the one.

good to know i'm not the only one who's seen these crappy infomercials.

What's even worse than watching them, though:
I used to work at one of the call centers that handles orders for products you see on TV, including that. I still hate it just because of the fact that that was one of the most popular products, and you'd be surprised how many people thought that 800 number was direct to the company selling the products.

Against my better judgment I bought one for my mother for Christmas last year after she saw the infomercial. I have to admit, it works great. She does roasts and birds in it and they always come out evenly cooked and never dried out. It cleans up pretty easy too.

My dad the cook loved using it for chicken, fish all kinds of stuff. My mom refuses to let anything that is not being used so she made my dad put it away. I don't think they have used it in 2 years or more. The things works real well though.

My gf has the George Foreman one (basically the same thing as the Showtime one), and it's awesome! I don't think we have ever put anything in it that didnt turn out great...

And you really just set it and forget it!

Well, apparently most people do...
That was probably the first question i always got..."Does this thing really work like the infomercial?" I spose it's good to know that it does.
But it was crazy...pretty much everything that you see on infomercials to order, you were actually calling us.

His are reconditioned, and this is the smaller model. I'm still tempted though.
