Anyone use ZoneAlarm?

Am useing it and was wondering whats local/internet mean also Allow server. How do I know which to enable and disable?

Allow server means a connection requested from your computer, as opposed to from the outside. If you're concerned about trojans then deny it. Local is your internal LAN, ie if you're running a gateway from that box. Internet is the adapter that connects your machine to the internet.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong on those...

I'd say stick with default settings till you know how/which ports to selectively deactivate.

- local means the computer u r using and also all others it is being used as a server for.
internet means when u r connected to the internet ( I guess u r talking about fixing the security settings for both ).
