Looks like he's selling a laptop, right? Read the description carefully

I just signed up for Yahoo Auctions, so it won't let me report the seller using the "Neighborhood Watch" system.

"This auction is for intangible goods. "

" Please note that under no circumstance must we be considered merchants of the goods under this category."

"Because of our "all sales are final" policy, we clearly state what this auction is for. Therefore, we are not liable for any customers mishaps of not reading this agreement. We reserve the right to use this documentation as a legally binding contract by and between the customers and us. By placing a bid, you're agreeing to the terms and conditions of this auction! We're so sorry for having everything bunched all together in this auction but yahoo does not offer "HTML""

EDIT: The seller has several other similar auctions.

They're selling a list of suppliers of that laptop, basically you'll get a letter with Neweg, ZipZoom, and Dell listed in it, and that's it.

Type your feedback here:
"This auction is for intangible goods. "

This line is buried in the middle of a huge
description for a laptop.

The seller has zero feedback, and has listed
several of these items.

This auction has closed. However, the seller has relisted a copy of this item. Click here to view the new item

He's listed another scam:

Text

He's gotten several bad comments in his feedback, although he has a ZERO rating. All the good comments are from buyers with 1 or 2 feedbacks.

I guess Yahoo doesn't give a crap about these scammers.

Ok, so don't buy from yahoo auctions. But how is it for selling? On ebay it's nearly impossible to make money selling slow moving items, due to high fees even if you don't sell.

My friend bought a list type thing on ebay for car stereo equipment (intentionally) and the list was acutally pretty damn comprehensive. I'm not sure how much the laptop thing would help though
