Anyone use WinPE before?

Just wondering... has anyone here used WinPE (Windows Preinstallation Environent) before in rolling out new machines? Does it beat the good old DOS boot disk? From what the site says seems like it would be pretty useful and make my life simple. However, it seems like only Software Assurance members get this =( Does anyone know if it comes with any other program (ie MSDN)? Thanks a lot guys.
