Vonage is tempting huh aphex ... I'm just now looking into it. But no solid feel for how it's working for current customers.

Right now I'm paying about $60.00 with taxes included from MCI for unlimited long-distance as well as local calling. I am interested in Vonage so I'm reading up more lately. I just was reading about the soft phone thing .. let us know what you find out.

I am on the $14.99/mo plan (which comes to a little under $17 w/ taxes) for 500 outgoing minutes (both local and long distance) and unlimited free incoming. 800 numbers are always free.

Personally, i LOVE it. I have my Vonage home phone number simultaneous ring to my cell phone as well (which is a different area code) so any calls automatically get to me, and all voicemails are sent via mp3 to my email :)

The only issue we've had is calling internationally to Costa Rica, but apparently its not just Vonage because our family is using Bellsouth and can't get through either :)

Wait, I didn't know Vonage had a $15 plan. My cellphone sucks in my basement apartment, so I definately need phone service, and this looks to be the cheapest.

If anyone wants to refer me and get some benefits, let me know. Otherwise, I may sign up tomorrow morning.
