This is the OP. Triple time warp!

So I am moving out of my 3rd floor apartment and am hiring Two Men and a Truck to help load my rental truck.

Am hoping to only use them for 2 hours to help load the heavy stuff and load the rest myself.

Just wondering if anyone has used them before and what was the experience like?

The big screen TV is the only thing that I really worry about since they have fragile. Any thing else would require some world class stupidness to damage.

i've used them before. they packed everything up neatly and moved them in without any issues. kind of expensive but beats the hell out of doing it yourself

I heard to cut down costs they now just send a really huge guy and you ride with the huge guy, thus it's still technically two men and a truck and they don't have to change their name.

I did twice. They sucked. We went back to them because when we called around for quotes, they told us that the crew that unloaded for us were fired.

Classy, but inevitable.

A friend of mine used 2 guys and a truck and wouldn't stop talking about how awesome they were.

Two MEN and a Truck.

My parents used them last time they moved and couldn't say enough good things about them.

My Mom said they literally ran when their hands were empty to make it back to get more stuff as fast as they possibly could.

She said their boss told her if they slow down at all to let him know and he'll fix it.

I've used them. They are real hit and miss because it all depends on the crew they send out. A lot of them are just weekend warriors that are trying to pick up extra cash.

There ya have it.

I've used them twice....first time was good...last year's move was problematic.

Around my family, typically I'm one of the men and my pickup is the truck. lol

I don't think anyone in my family or circle of friends has used professional movers in the past 10 years.
