Anyone use Turo to rent cars?

Anyone use Turo to rent cars? It’s a good way to try out interesting cars that you might not otherwise get to drive.

I drive a lot for work and so far have rented an S2000, Shelby GT500, Scion FRS, and 1990 Skyline GTR. All but the GTR were under $100 for a 24 hour rental. Not bad for a manual transmission sports car, certainly much lower than an exotic rental company.

Hagerty’s Driveshare is a similar service that focuses on classics. There’s a ‘66 Porsche 911 that I’ve got my eye on… wouldn’t mind having that for a day.

I've rented out my car through Turo. Some of my friends they buy cars specifically to rent out on Turo and as their main income.

I've used it a few times. The best car I've rented was a 2006 six speed Miata for a SF/Cali trip. It was a few hundred bucks total for a week, awesome value and perfect car to have in California summer.
