Bought a set of Eagle F1 Asymetricals and a set of ComforTred

The price is $87 for the F1's (each tire is $186) and $38 for the ComforTred (each tire $79).

I never used their road hazard, but have learned from some that they really don't cover much.

Thanks

I think those policies are just a waste of money. Even if it did cover tons of stuff, you insure things that you CAN'T afford to replace out-of-pocket. Even if you end up getting a few punctures and have to replace a couple of $200 tires prematurely over the life of your car, you'll have saved piles of money vs. buying the policy.

punctures cost about $10 to fix with a plug and $40 for a patch here...my lower profile tires usually have an additional fee to remount them.

The policy is to cover all 4 tires for that price.

I just purchased my current set of tires a few months ago from a place that didn't offer road hazard warranties. A few weeks ago one of the tires was punctured in 4 different spots and one happened to be a pinhead sized one right on the sidewall. No shop would touch it so I ended up paying $150 for a new one while the old one still had a good 80% tread left.

I think the RHW from America's Tires is only $15 a tire and will cover unrepairable punctures like mine. Sure that may be the only urepairable puncture for the life of those tires but $45 isn't bad compared to $150.
